The founders of the committee swear by the Ganga Ghat
A unique journey started today from Kashtharani Ghat in Mongar to demand the development of Dandi-Gadapura, the Salt Satyagraha site in Begusarai. This journey has been going on for the past 13 years to keep the memories of the freedom struggle intact for the benefit of the present and future generations. Ramesh Mehto of the historic and glorious Yatra Committee, after bathing on the banks of Ganga in Munger, wearing a new sacred thread, carrying Ganga water, sword and tricolor in the holy Kalash, vowed to witness the sacred and priceless heritage. The freedom struggle was given a proper place at the state and national level, it will not be given respect and recognition, it will not rest in peace.
