His total property is around seven and a half crore taka or 1 million dollars. Bharat, a 54-year-old resident of Mumbai, has been begging for four decades. He has been in this profession since he was a teenager. He prayed at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Railway Station or Azad Maidan, one of the most important and populated areas of Mumbai. His daily income is 2 thousand to 2500 taka. He works 10 to 12 hours a day. Don’t take any breaks even on holidays.
He has many immovable properties in Mumbai. A 2 BHK flat costs Tk 1.2 crore. He lives there with his wife, two sons, brother and father. Children who receive a convent education are established in life. Other members of the family run a stationery shop.
