The Ministry’s Media Spokesperson Muhammad Saleem Sheikh has warned that pregnant women are more vulnerable to heat waves, and the situation can be more worrying and serious for children, the elderly and women due to their weakened immune systems.

He said people should protect themselves from health problems in every possible way, especially avoiding unnecessary outdoor activities during hot hours between 11am and 3pm.
According to the spokesperson, although hot weather can affect anyone, pregnant women are at greater risk, so it is important that pregnant women avoid going out during high temperatures.
