On the orders of Food Safety and Drug Control Commissioner Iqbal Khan, Additional Commissioner Pankaj Ojha and CMHO Dr. Jayanti Lal Meena, three samples of Paliwal brand ghee were taken from Paliwal Sons Dairy Private Limited in Dholpur Industrial Area under safety The Food and Standards Act 2006. At the same time, 9,000 898 kg of ghee were also seized.

Food safety officer Padam Singh Farmer said the samples taken have been sent to a laboratory for testing. Necessary action will be taken on receipt of the investigation report. He informed that the work of taking samples of food items is being done continuously across the district. The department is committed to ensure that pure food is available to the general public. Food business people are being made aware about production, storage, transportation and sale. of clean and healthy food products.
The food inspector said that action, inspection, sampling, surveillance, seizure and destruction are carried out continuously against adulterers according to the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 and the 2011 regulations.
