Dhaka (International Desk) The government has announced good news for those planning to perform Hajj this year in Bangladesh, where Hajj packages have been significantly reduced.
According to Bangladeshi media, on the occasion of Hajj, the government has reduced the official Hajj package up to 1 lakh rupees.
Religious Affairs Minister Faridul Haque Khan said that the government should reduce the price of Hajj package this year. Despite the increasing value of the dollar, the government is going to make this reduction.

He further said that we are sincere that the pilgrims of this country can perform Hajj at a reasonable price.
In his statement, the minister explained that the government is reducing the price of the official Hajj package by 1 lakh 4 thousand taka, while the price of the private Hajj package is reduced by 82 thousand 800 rupees.
He added that the government is trying to provide more facilities to Haj pilgrims.
