New Delhi: Mumbai TV star ‘Anupama’ Rupali Gangopadhyay has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The news was sealed at a press conference in New Delhi on Wednesday, May 1. Speaking to the media, the Bengali actress said, “It’s an honor to be here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has influenced me In many ways. I am a big fan of PM Modi. That’s why I wanted to join the team.”

Along with Rupali, political leaders Vinod Tawde and Anil Baluni joined the BJP at the press conference. However, the ‘Anupama’ star is yet to confirm whether she is contesting in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. This year Kangana Ranaut, Arun Govil joined BJP from the celluloid world. Money is the new addition to that list.
