In this regard, the Director of Public Education, Chhattisgarh issued an order related to the revised schedule to the DEO. The DEO then issued orders to all principals of Atmanand schools in the district directing them to proceed with the admission process as per the revised schedule. Earlier, the time to apply was until May 5. In this regard, 5 additional days were given to submit an application. Earlier, the schedule for the lottery and seat allocation between May 5 and 10 was published. According to the amended order, instructions have now been given to allocate places in the lottery in the event of additional applications arriving between May 11 and 15. After that, the admission process will continue between May 16 and 20. Earlier, the schedule for necessary operations related to admission was fixed between May 11 and 15. There was mention of giving more time due to the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections. In fact, voting will be held for seven Lok Sabha seats including Durg on May 7. In it, the duty of departmental officers and employees was imposed. Under the Mahtari Dular Yojana, this meeting was also given instructions to give priority admission to children orphaned by the corona. Admission guidelines have been set for both Hindi and English medium schools. Therefore, instructions were given to complete the admission procedures. According to the education department, after the Swami Atmanand School exams were over, the results of the local classes were also released. After the verification of the applications received by May 10, i.e. verification at the school level, seats will be distributed by lottery, i.e. it will be clear how many seats will be given in which school. Application for admission can be made both online and offline. A student can apply to only one school. Instructions have been issued to give priority admission to English Medium Primary and Pre-Primary School students working in Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School in Class VI and Class IX. Under the Mahatari Dollar Yojana, children orphaned due to the Corona epidemic will get special priority entry. It is mandatory to attach the death certificate of the parent together with the application form for admission. Female students will be selected from 50 percent of the available seats in each class. If there are not enough girls available, the seats can be filled with boys. BPL category will get admission on 25% seats in Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School, children of BPL and economically weaker parents will get admission on 25% of the total available seats. The parents must produce an income certificate issued by the competent authority. The admission of the children of the candidates to 25 percent of the seats of all available positions will be done through a lottery system, meaning the selection will be done randomly through the computer. If there are more qualified candidates than the designated seats, the selection will be made by lottery. To be admitted to first grade, the student’s age on May 31, 2024 must be between 5 years 6 months and 6 years 6 months.
