Guwahati: A minor girl who had come to Nagaon with her parents from Punjab to sell Ayurvedic medicines was kidnapped on Thursday, May 23.

The incident took place in Nagaon’s Morikolong area, and the girl was abducted from their temporary shelter at the Morikolong Children’s Park. The victim was staying in Nagaon with her father to sell Ayurvedic medicines in the city.
Speaking to GPlus, a police official from the Sadar police station said: “We have not caught the culprits yet. But, we assume it is a case of family conflict and the kidnappers are known people of the victim and their family. Their case is also ongoing in Punjab, which has now come here.”
Investigations are underway to determine the identity of the kidnappers and apprehend them. Waiting for more details.
