Bihar’s swiping icon Maithili Thakur wooed voters with folk songs at a voter program at Madusrava College of Engineering in Kaler Barwal block. On Friday, Maithili Thakur and District Election Officer Varsha Singh jointly at the College of Engineering.

Maithili Thakur was received by singing a welcome song. Inaugurating the programme, Maithili Thakur conducted a voter awareness campaign among the people through folk music and made the voters aware about the elections under the Jahanabad Parliamentary Constituency. He said that the youth should make an important contribution in the development of the country. In such a situation, the youth must participate as much as possible in the 100% final voting phase on June 1 and go to the polling station and vote.
He told people that he had an opportunity to visit different districts of Bihar. I will come again to organize the program in the district where there is a maximum vote. Our message to the youth is to wake up and be aware and go vote for yourselves and all the voters in your family.
On this occasion Maithili Thakur in her melodious voice led an awareness campaign through folk songs about voting. He said let’s vote, respect our rights, let’s vote and raise awareness among people about voting through folk songs.
