In view of the festival, clothes and other items were ordered by taking money on interest.

Ten shops were gutted in a case of arson on Saturday night in shops built on the footpath on Jama Masjid Road near platform number seven of Dhanbad station. Property worth lakhs has been damaged. The incident happened after a thunderstorm and rain on Saturday night. People found out about the fire in a shop. The fire brigade also arrived on information but within no time 10 shops were burnt.

Fancy watches, glasses, belts, fancy items etc are available in the said shops.
