In the case of mining in the mountainous region of Arabali, the Supreme Court said, without further order of the court, none of the four states will have the right to give final permission for mining. During the hearing of the case on Thursday, the court said that there is a need for protection of Arwali. The court clarified that the mining activity that is already being carried out on the basis of valid permits and licenses is not stopped. A bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice Abhay Oka said, this order of the Supreme Court will not be seen as a ban on legitimate mining activities.
