Approval to end subsidy on gas for fertilizer factories, a major decision by the government Achi-News

Taking a major decision, the federal government has approved the removal of gas subsidy for fertilizer factories. The federal cabinet has decided unanimously to end the subsidy to fertilizer factories completely.

Currently fertilizer factories are getting a subsidy of Rs 217 per mmbtu and gas is being supplied to the factories at the price of Rs 1597 per mmbtu farmers are not getting any benefit.
