37 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor Bilaspur Railway’s all-important electric loco shed, where engine-related repair work is underway. Control room using these cameras on all activities from workplace, shop, administrative building to canteen.

The divisional railway administration claims that closed-circuit cameras were installed in the division’s central stations to keep an eye on the minute activity of the station. With its help, better security is guaranteed in railway stations and railway yards.
Supply of cameras also in workshops and offices
The railway management has also provided CCTV cameras in central offices and workshops etc. of the division for better security. so that security arrangements can be tightened by better monitoring all activity there.
The installation of 37 closed circuit cameras will ensure better security in the locomotive shed. Besides, the activities of unauthorized people can be better monitored. All activities of the repair work taking place in the loco shed will be recorded on camera. Due to this, the efficiency of the employees will also be strengthened.
