The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has issued a stern warning, stating that any attempt to impose Governor’s Rule will be met with resistance, ARY News reported on Thursday.
Ali Amin Gandpur, the Chief Minister of KP, condemned the incident on May 9 and vowed that those responsible would be held accountable to the nation.
Gandpur stressed that despite facing eight FIRs filed against him in eight different districts, none of the allegations were proved to be true.
Declaring his determination to maintain his position, Gandpour warned against undermining the democratic process.
He warned against engaging in disruptive tactics, stating that any attempt to derail progress would be strongly opposed.
“I will not remain silent for the seat of the prime minister, and if the governor’s law is imposed, we will take over the governor’s house,” Gandpour said.
In a bold challenge, the Prime Minister invited his predecessor, Pervez Khattak, to participate in a public debate at the Kaaba, where a media presence ensures transparency.
