Voting will be held today for 10 Lok Sabha and Karnal Assembly seats in Haryana. Voting takes place between 7am and 6pm. There are a total of 19,88,217 voters in the Ambala Lok Sabha seat. Of these, female voters are 9,36,156, male voters are around 10,51,985. Apart from these, there are 76 transgender people

Here is the competition between them
The main contest for the Ambala Lok Sabha seat in Haryana is between the BJP and the Congress. The BJP has dealt with the former Union Minister Late from here. Banto Kataria, wife of Ratan Lal Kataria, has been made a candidate. While the Congress has declared its MLA Mullana Varun Chaudhary as its candidate. Apart from this, Gurpreet Singh has been made the candidate of INLD. JJP has fielded Dr Kiran Poonia in the election. There are 14 candidates in the electoral fray in Ambala.

That was the situation in two elections
Ambala Lok Sabha constituency consists of 9 assembly constituencies including Kalka, Panchkula, Narayangarh, Ambala Cantt, Ambala City, Mullana (SC), Sadhaura (SC), Jagadhri, Yamunanagar. Ambala is a seat of SC. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Ratan Lal Kataria of BJP had won this seat by 342,345 votes.

He received 746,508 votes with 57.00% of the vote share. He defeated Kumari Selja, who got 404,163 votes (30.67%).

Ratan Lal Kataria had won this seat in the Lok Sabha elections 2014. In the Lok Sabha elections 2014, Ratan Lal Kataria got 612,121 votes with a share of 50.17% of the vote.

INC candidate Raj Kumar Valmiki received 272,047 votes (22.30%). Ratan Lal Kataria defeated Raj Kumar Valmiki by 340,074 votes.
