A refund of Rs 24 lakh has been made from Ambala station, DRM Mandeep Singh Bhatia said, talking about counter tickets and reserved tickets, the department has refunded Rs 85 lakh between April 17 and 30. If we talk only about Ambala station , a refund of Rs 24 lakh has been made. However, the refund figure is much higher than this. He said only 20 percent are counter tickets. 80 percent of the tickets are from IRCTC alone. IRCTC is yet to share its refund data. If we talk about reimbursement from IRCTC, then this figure is worth crores of rupees.
