Achi news desk-Bypoll News 1466 voters of Ekdri of Surachpur Panchayat and Khap Tola of Purina Panchayat under Sikta Sikta block will get a big relief in the elections to be held on 25th May. Assistant Electoral Officer Emeritus BDO Ajit Kumar Roshan said that 865 Khap Tola voters of Puraina Panchayat traveled a distance of 10 kilometers and went to Polling Station No. 274 set up at Satgari Government Upgraded Middle School to exercise their franchise. Out of the total of 868 voters in this polling station, 865 were residents of Haft Tula. These voters had to face hardships throughout the day just to vote. Now these voters will not have to travel a distance of 10 kilometers to vote. On the other hand, 601 voters from Ekdri village in Suryapur panchayat had to walk 5 kilometers away to vote in polling station number 222 of Mangalpur Government Primary School, Urdu South. There were a total of 1001 voters in this ballot. There were 601 voters from Kfar Adri. This was also dismantled and a voting booth was built in the elementary school of that village. They too will not have to travel 5 kilometers to Mangalpur to vote in this year’s Lok Sabha elections. You can only vote in booths built in the village. There is joy among the voters of the two villages about this administrative arrangement. Nassar Ahmad of Hap Tula, Taslim Mian, Usman Mian, Mangal Manghi of Ekdri, Dukhi Manjhi, Tapasi Manjhi and more said that the construction of the stalls in the village brought convenience. Earlier the whole day was spent only in voting. Now our work can be done by voting.
