AJP leader Lurinjyoti Gogoi has filed nomination from Dibugra for Lok Sabha elections Achi-News

Guwahati: Lorinjyoti Gogoi of Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) has filed his nomination papers for Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency, which is supported by INDI alliance and other parties.

Accompanied by other party leaders, Gogoi submitted his candidacy on March 26.

Taking to X Lurinjyoti Gogoi said, "Before I went to submit my nomination papers, I paid my respects to Aye and her portrait. Wherever you are, bless us from him, Ai! Being a servant of Mother Esam, I am on my way to fight for the nation. Fight honestly this fight give me strength."

The Dibrugarh Lok Sabha constituency consists of the following assembly segments: Margherita, Digboi, Makum, Tinsukia, Chabua-Lahowal, Dibrugarh, Khowang, Duliajan, Tingkhong and Narhaktia.

The election process in Assam will be held in three phases, starting from April 19. The official notification for the elections for the first phase was published on March 20, and candidates must submit their documents by March 27. The papers will be examined on March 20. March 28, and candidates can withdraw until March 30.

The second phase of the elections is on April 26. The notification will be issued on March 28, and the documents must be submitted by April 4. They will be reviewed on April 5th, and candidates can withdraw until April 8th.

The last phase of the elections is on May 7. The announcement will be made on April 12, and applicants have until April 19 to submit their documents. The documents will be reviewed on April 20, and candidates will be able to withdraw until April 22.
