The United Nations has announced Nature as an artist conveying the message of nature conservation on Earth Day on April 22. Apart from this, we have made the tunes of those lyricists and composers from around the world part of our Sounds Right initiative, where the sounds of nature have been used. On Thursday, the works of many artists were presented by the United Nations Museum considering nature as an artist. As part of the Sounds Right initiative, all these artists will use the sounds of nature in their work and recognize nature as an artist in their work. Cosmo Sheldrake’s work Soil is, in part, a tribute to the powerful transformative and productive capacities of underground ecosystems. Louis Six’s composition Orange Skies with acoustic ecologist Martin Stewart uses the sounds of the Borneo rainforest. The initiative aims to actively inspire fans of these artists to conserve nature, raise funds and appreciate nature.
