In a conversation with the AP Podcast channel, Adil said that ‘Kabir Singh’ is the only film in which I regret working. Adil said that at that time I was busy with other work. They wanted my one day. I told my manager to demand more money from him, so he refused. But they were also willing to pay more money. I shot the film. I also had a lot of fun doing my scene. I thought the movie would be good too. But when I went to the theater after the release of the movie, I was surprised.
I thought what kind of film I made. I had no idea what the movie would be like. I was embarrassed in the theater. You can’t even imagine how I felt at that time. If I had known beforehand that this film would be like this, I would never have worked in it.
Adil Hussain never asked his wife to watch this movie because she too would have felt embarrassed after watching it.
