The Meera Associates warehouse located at Banapura agricultural produce market center in Narmadapuram district was blacklisted for a year. Two months ago, action was taken in the case of illegal transport of government gram through theft at night. On the basis of the investigation team, a proposal was sent to blacklist Meera Associates Warehouse and ban the branch manager. Meera Associates Warehouse was blacklisted for one year as per the rules by the Regional Manager, AS Warehousing and Logistics Corporation Narmadapuram for violating the conditions mentioned in the contract under the JBS Scheme. On the night of 1-2 March, sacks of government tags with gram were stolen from the Meera Associates warehouse and loaded into trucks. As soon as information about this was received, SDM Pramod Gurjar immediately reached the spot On seeing the administrative team, the businessman along with the truck driver and the helper ran away from the spot . After this, SDM Pramod Singh Gurjar called the warehouse operator Sachin Modi to the spot and late at night, two trucks were brought to the police station and kept under police custody by Warehouse Corporation officials . The next day, the district level investigation team formed on the instructions of Collector Sonia Meena Seoni Malwa arrived to investigate. The team included Deputy Director of Agriculture Department JR Hedau, District Supply Officer Jyoti Singhai Jain, District Marketing Officer Devendra Yadav, and District Manager Madhya Pradesh Warehousing Corporation Limited Nageen Verma. The investigation team formed conducted a random inspection of the Meera Associates Warehouse Agricultural Produce Market complex, Banapura, on the basis of facts and submitted a report to the Collector and the District Magistrate. Based on this a proposal was sent by the Collector to the Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Warehouse and Logistics Corporation, Bhopal to blacklist Meera Associate Warehouse.
