Aurangabad City A young man on foot was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding bicycle. The incident took place near the Naugar turn in the Mufsil police station area. The injured youth has been identified as Chandan Kumar, 20-year-old son of Bhuneshwar Ram, a resident of Madupur village under Madanpur police station area. After the incident, the local people present at the scene took him to the community hospital for immediate treatment. There the doctors, seeing his condition as serious, referred him to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for better treatment after first aid. The injured young man said in the hospital that he went to the tilak ceremony at his relative’s house in Mahwari village. We walked to the Naugarh stand to catch the beat.
