Officials with the Quebec Workplace Safety Board were dispatched to the Port of Montreal on Friday after a truck driver was killed on the job.
The port’s spokesperson told Noovo Info that the authorities were notified around 14:00 of an incident at the Viau terminal.
Two CNESST inspectors were sent to the site this afternoon to gather information about the circumstances of this incident.
The Montreal police were also called to assist at the scene.
