Fatpur City Correspondent: A woman who came out of the house to fetch a goat died after being struck by lightning during a light rain in Chattarpur Rakhi village of North Lodva Panchayat of Fatpur block. While a teenage girl was also injured by the lightning strike. This event occurred on Thursday at 11:30 am. It is said that Jamuni Devi (55), wife of Baleshwar Manji, a resident of Chhatarpur Rakhi village, went to get the goat tied outside when it started raining. During this time the woman was suddenly struck by lightning. The woman was badly burned by it. The family brought him for treatment at CHC Fatehpur. After seeing the doctors here, they declared the woman dead. It was reported that the village itself had died. Naato Kumari (17), daughter of Kailash Ravidas, was also standing a short distance from the deceased woman at the time of the incident.
