In the incident, the woman Sulekha Devi and her four-year-old son sustained minor injuries while the twelve-year-old daughter Abhilasha Kumari was badly injured. After the incident, RPF Assistant Sub Inspector Bablu Prasad and Havildar RN B Hansda, with the help of the local police, took the injured to Saraiyahat Community Health Centre. It is said that Sulekha Devi had to go to her home in Masudi in Banka district with the two children.
