In the process of recruiting an Assistant Professor in this department in the year 2010, Dr. Sheela Jain, a woman from general category, to join the post reserved for the tribal (ST) department. Meanwhile, when the Scheduled Tribes community organizations asked for information about this recruitment process under RTI, they were misled and given some other documents. A few days ago, the new DMI went two steps forward and justified this whole process. Although the reality is that the recruitment process may be correct, inconsistencies in joining cannot be ruled out.
Now preparing to become a Professor after an Associate: On 14 December 2010, Dr. Sheela Jain as Assistant Professor in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Obs-Gy) Bundelkhand Medical College. According to the information received by RTI, the post of Assistant Professor was not vacant in the department in 2010. Jain joins the post from Tribe List. Joining also circumvented the rules. To cover up the mistakes, some important documents from the Establishment Branch have also been tampered with.

RTI activist advocate Jagdev Singh said that the earlier investigation conducted by DME Dr. AK Srivastava against the appointment of Dr. Sheela Jain completed in letter no.360/Estt./Raj/No. You. A clean chit has been issued vide /2024 Bhopal dated 05/03/2024. While not all the complaints related to the appointment of Dr. Sheela but her union is against the rules. My demand is that this letter should also be investigated. Because Dr. Jain is misleading the officials through this letter. The rights of the tribal community have been taken away from them.
Ed. Singh says that in the year 2010, when all the authorized posts of Assistant Professor in the department were filled. Then why suddenly an advertisement was published for 2 jobs. All this conspiracy and fraud starts with this advertisement and the appointments made through it. The government should also look into this in detail.

On 14 December 2010, Dr. was appointed. Registered Load – posted Dr. Anita Baghel, Unreserved – Dr. Nidhi Mishra and Dr. Jagriti Kiran Nagar. In this situation, there was no job scope for Dr Jain. While he was joined on 14 December 2010. Here, on 24 December 2010, Dr Baghel, who was appointed in the Scheduled Caste category, resigned from his post. Here, the administrative officers of the BMC at the time and some senior doctors made Dr. Sheela is skilled to join Dr Baghel’s job. Whereas a person belonging to a lower caste should have had a chance at this job.
