The police seized the stolen van and Tabara, the vehicle used in the theft, from the thieves’ authority. The police also said that the accused Punit Thakur, alias Chhotu Thakur, is a history sheet of Jigana Police Station, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. Many cases of theft and assault are registered against him and many cases are also registered against accused Parshuram in Manda police station and other police stations of Uttar Pradesh.
