Due to the heat of the summer, incidents of fire continuously occur in the area. There have been 5 major events in the area in the last 15 days. In which property about Rs 12.75 crores were burnt. The five fire incidents took place in three factories, the CMPDI office at BCCL headquarters and a diagnostic laboratory. It is said that an electrical short circuit is the cause of all the incidents, but no one has the answer as to what caused the short circuit and the responsible department did not even try to investigate it.
