Retired police officer DC Tiwari died of a heart attack in the Sanjay Taran Pushkar Corporation bathroom.
Retired officer DC Tiwari (78 years) died of a heart attack at 7 am on Thursday in the bathroom of Sanjay Taran Pushkar of Bilaspur Municipal Corporation. When they heard the sound of the fall in the bathroom, his friends ran to help him and jumped in from the opening above and opened the door and saved him.

Swimming pool manager Pramil Sharma told Dainik Bhaskar that when members Sanjay Taran Pushkar, Dr Joshi and Dr Chaudhary felt Tiwari’s pulse, she was found missing. He was later pronounced dead.

According to the manager, DC Tiwari was a member of the swimming pool for 35 years. Like every day, he went to the bathroom to take a shower after swimming. During this time he suffered a severe heart attack. Because of this he died. He said the swimming pool was kept closed today in mourning the death of a senior member of Sanjay Taran Pushkar.

According to Corporation Secretary Rajendra Awasthi, DC Tiwari, a resident of Sarju Bagcha, of Sanganj, retired from National Bank service 18 years ago. After the marriage of his three daughters, he lived in the house of his wife Sergio Bagicha. His last rites were performed at Devkinandan Dixit Muktidham in the afternoon.
