The government has taken action regarding irregularities in nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Now some new steps are also being taken to improve the arrangements.

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has given instructions to take strict action against irregularities. The officers and employees who commit irregularities will be dismissed. Such employees and officials are identified who had helped to get recognition of unfit nursing colleges by giving false reports.

At the same time, action will also be taken against the then Registrar and Secretary of the Nursing Council. Because he didn’t do his job seriously. If any such negligence comes to notice in the future as well, action will be taken against the officials and employees concerned as per the rules.

These will be the new arrangements

  • A new regional commission will be formed as per the new Nursing Act of the Government of India.
  • Under the new rules, the National Commission will grant recognition to nursing institutions in the future.
  • Like engineering and medical institutes, there will be a state level entrance examination for admission to nursing institutes.
