Jack Page, of Fleming Avenue, was caught in Bannister Road, Southampton, on Wednesday, April 10, and will appear in court.
Page, 24, had 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.
He pleaded guilty at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 16.
Page is banned from driving for 14 months, which can be reduced by 14 weeks if the course is completed by February 8 next year.
He must also pay a fine of £120, a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £40. This must be paid by June 13.
