Karauli: It has been learned that an African Cheetah (Namibian Cheetah) has escaped from Kuno Safari Park in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh and has come to Rajasthan.

This Namibian leopard was camping in Simara village in Karanpur district of Karauli district, and the news of the entry of the leopard on Saturday morning created anxiety in the entire area. Acting on the information, the forest department and the police team reached Simara village. The forest department and the police team are trying to catch the leopard.

The forestry department and the police have appealed to the people of this area to keep a safe distance from the leopard. It is said to be a leopard in Namibia and has wandered into Karauli from Kuno Safari Park in Madhya Pradesh. The forest department officials said that the leopard will be caught and taken back to Kuno.

Kedar Meena, a resident of Simara village, said the leopard was spotted early on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning, some villagers were going to the fields. At that time he saw a wild animal. Seeing that leopard, he got scared and came back to the village. The other villagers were informed of this and after this a large number of people gathered at the place. The villagers have informed the forestry department and the police about the arrival of wild animals in this area.

The Madhya Pradesh Forest Department team also reached the spot after receiving the information. They confirmed it as a Namibian leopard. Meanwhile, a team from the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department has also reached Simara village. The police and the villagers keep a good distance from the leopard. A forest department team tries to tranquilize the leopard and send it to Kuno. People panic because of the news that a leopard has come to this area.
