Guwahati: A two-wheeler rider died in a mishap near Pratiksha Hospital on VIP Road around 10.45 pm on Tuesday, March 26.

The deceased has been identified as Jitomuni Kalita hailing from Sunajoli in Udalguri.

Kalita’s family claimed that he was hit by a truck while the police said that he fell on the road and was also not wearing a helmet.
