Special Public Prosecutor Vedprakash Dwivedi said the victim’s mother had accused Baby Begum at the Bangar police station of raping her cousin Ajjul Qureshi. During the hearing of the case, Special Judge Vivekananda Prasad of the court gave this judgment against both of them. This decision of the court came two years after the event.

While talking to Dinik Bhaskar, the victim said that her grandmother cousin took her to Ajjul Qureshi’s house on the pretext of buying goods, where Ajjul raped her. The girl said that even in my dreams I never imagined that the person I call grandma would rape me.

The victim told Dinik Bhaskar that the incident happened on December 16, 2021. At that time, she studied in the fourth grade. She was praying in her school when her grandmother cousin came and pulled her out of the school on the pretext of buying food items.

After that, she was taken by bus to Ajjul Qureshi’s house. There Ajazul Qureshi forcibly committed an injustice. Despite the crying and pleading, no one did anything. while his grandmother was present in the other room. Ejajul then left her and grandmother near Tikulia Chowk on his bike and left.

The court gave its verdict after two years

When she got home with her grandmother, her mother asked questions after seeing the bad situation. When mom asked grandma, she refused to say anything. The minor then told the mother everything. The family members took him to the hospital. In the meantime, the mother notified the police. On its basis an FIR was registered.

Meanwhile, POCSO Act Special Public Prosecutor Vedprakash Dwivedi said the victim’s mother has registered a case at the local police station. Baby Begum and Ajjul Qureshi were accused of this. At the end of the hearing of the case, the court found both of them guilty under the POCSO Act and sentenced them.

During the hearing, the court also ordered to give a grant of seven lakh twenty thousand rupees to the minor under the Bihar Victims Compensation Scheme.
