Rourkela | The dead body of an old man was found tied in a sack under the Shanka river bridge in Brahmani Tarang police station area. There were signs of injury on his body. There is a possibility of murder because of this. The deceased has not been identified. The police have sent the body of the unknown person for a post-mortem examination and are continuing the investigation. Locals spotted the sack in the water under the Shenka bridge near Yamunanki between Vedavyas and Kuramunda in the morning and informed the police. The police and the fire department arrived at the scene and found the body tied in a sack from the stream. The person was wearing a black jacket. He is believed to have been murdered elsewhere and thrown into the river from the bridge. The police investigation into this matter is ongoing.
