Nalanda Islampur police caught a criminal with gun cartridges. The accused is Bengali Bind, son of late Nanha Bind, a resident of Hatulana Viga of Islampur police station area.

Hilsa DSP 2 Islampur Gopal Krishna said that Islampur Station Commander received information that firing was taking place between two parties due to old enmity near the water tank located at Chatolna Bigha in the police station area. Taking immediate action on this information, the Islampur Police Station Commander conducted a raid. In this sequence, a shell, a gun and 4 live cartridges were seized from the scene of the incident located in Hatulana Biga.
A case registered under the Arms Act
The main accused in the incident, Bengali Bind, son of the late Nanha Bind, a resident of the village of Hatulana Biga, was arrested. A case has been registered under the Arms Act at the Islampur police station. The police started investigating the whole matter. The police are also conducting raids to arrest more accused.
Islampur Police Station Commander Sanjeev Kumar, Trainee Inspector Kajal Kumari, Constable Vikas Kashyap, Constable Sanjay Kumar and other armed police forces were included in the raid team.
