News in Bhaskar Iron ore production stopped due to sudden break of the conveyor in the tunnel constructed at Akashnagar’s Down Hill of Dantewada NMDC’s Bacheli project. It was reported that on Tuesday night there was a sudden technical fault in the conveyor belt, as a result of which the connections of the conveyor belt installed in the 2.7 km long tunnel were opened at 29 places and the entire belt was wrapped in different places. It was said that NMDC suffered a loss of millions of rupees due to this incident. While iron ore transportation It will not be affected due to the stoppage of production. A team of engineers and workers have gathered here to repair the conveyor belt, and it will allow the resumption of production. Because of this, after digging and breaking the iron ore, The conveyance through the iron ore to the dumping ground was suddenly stopped. As soon as the conveyance was stopped, the project officials found that the conveyer belt was broken in many places. So far, the belt was broken in several places , the conveyor caught fire for various reasons. It is known that in the Down Hill project of Akshangarh, about 10 to 12 thousand tons of iron ore are produced daily, which is continuously sent to the dump yard. On Wednesday, about 10 to 12 thousand tons could not be produced of iron ore, due to which NMDC is said to be experiencing a loss of Rs.It is also said that from the Bacheli project, iron ore is transported daily to Visakhapatnam and Raipur through more than 5 rakes of goods trains and more than 200 trucks. There is so much iron ore in the dumping ground that transportation by rail and truck could continue for the next 15 days.
