A 77-year-old woman is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Quebec City’s Vanier district.
A little before 22:00 on Thursday, the emergency services were called to Chabot Street, near Planet Avenue, where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
When Quebec City Police (SPVQ) arrived, the 77-year-old woman was conscious and breathing, but her injuries were considered serious.
She was taken to the hospital, where her life remains in danger.
The driver involved in the collision was met by the police.
A security cordon has been set up around the site of the collision while police continue their investigation.
