Sub-Inspector Prakash Rajput, assistant to the girl’s mother, was on Monday suspended in connection with the alleged rape of an eight-year-old Class II student in the hostel of a large private school in Misrod district. At the same time, another associate ASI RP Singh will also be suspended soon. The role of the two police officers in this whole matter is questionable.

Both of them had many long conversations on a mobile phone with the child’s mother.
