Pakistan’s senior fast bowler Mohammad Amir returned to the team after four years and made his comeback memorable by taking two wickets.

Pakistan’s senior fast bowler Mohammad Amir backtracked on his decision to retire from international cricket a few days ago, following which the PCB included him in the five-match T20 series against New Zealand. He made his comeback memorable with his amazing performance.

When he took to the field for the second T20 International on Saturday, it was his return to the national team after four years, but his swing and fast bowling left no doubt that he was a veteran international back.

Mohammad Amir troubled the Kiwi batsmen with his fast bowling and took two valuable wickets for just 13 runs.

The senior fast bowler first bowled Tim Robinson for four in the second ball of his first over and then sent Dan Fox back to the pavilion for a personal score of 13 runs.

A short video of Mohammad Amir’s brilliant bowling was shared by PCB on social media and it has an interesting caption, “Mohammad Amir’s return, aggressive powerplay bowling by the famous bowler”.

It should be noted that in this match, the Pakistani bowlers dismissed the Kiwis for only 90 runs, in which Shaheen Shah and Abrar Ahmed scored three, three, Muhammad Amir and Shadab Khan scored two, while Naseem Shah scored one goal.

With the first match rained out, Pakistan have a one-nil lead in the five-match T20 series. The third match will be held tonight at Pindi Stadium, after which both teams will go to Lahore for the next two matches.
