In view of the Lok Sabha-2024 elections in Dewas district, the Excise Department took action under the leadership of Assistant Excise Commissioner Mandakini Dixit on the instructions of Collector Rishav Gupta. Based on the information of an informant, the Excise team conducted a systematic search of a residential house in Madka village of Dewas circle and recovered a total of 72 liters of bulk domestic and foreign liquor. The accused has been caught from the spot and a case has been registered. Circle in-charge Umesh Swarnkar, Rajkumari Mandloi, Sub-Inspector Prem Yadav and DP Singh and other customs staff were involved in the action.
