A terrible bus accident happened in Uttar Pradesh. At least 6 people lost their lives in this tragic accident, the number of injured is more than 20 people. The accident took place in the afternoon near Jamaldipur village on the Hardoi-Unnao road.

Safipur Circle Officer Rishikant Shukla said that 35 passengers in the bus met with an accident. 6 of them are already dead, 20 passengers injured. The injured passengers were rescued and taken to district hospitals in Kanpur and Unnao. Of the 20 passengers involved in the accident, 11 were sent to Kanpur District Hospital and the other 9 were brought to Unnao District Hospital. Those with relatively minor injuries were released after initial treatment.

The truck driver was arrested in the bus accident but the bus driver is absconding. Police said efforts are underway to locate the deceased.
