In view of the Lok Sabha elections, 49 people were arrested in a special raid operation conducted for the arrest of those wanted in the case and the return of liquor. In doing so, 8 were caught by the police for attempted murder, 12 for assaulting police officers, 2 for extortion, 12 for alcohol and 9 for warrant. 12 alcohol distilleries were destroyed during the campaign. 60 liters of country alcohol were found. 450 liters of liquor were destroyed. About 46 warrants and one foreclosure were executed. About 723 vehicles were inspected. A fine of 1.5 lacs was collected. The police station in Dehra arrested two accused of attempted murder.
