The Customs Department team has busted the illegal alcohol hideout running in the heart of the city on Wednesday. On the instructions of the District Elections Officer with Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, under the guidance of the Assistant Foreign Commissioner and the supervision of the Foreign Inspector, the District Tax team raided the illegal alcohol manufacturing site at Mishra Tola on the banks of Cooling Pond in Bokaro City Station District Police. The customs team seized 3600 kg of Java Mahua and 165 liters of illegal liquor from the spot.
The team managed to recover items used to produce illegal drinks.
