The Madhya Pradesh Western Region Electricity Distribution Company decided to install a 200 tonne, 200 mega volt ampere capacity transformer at a cost of Rs 3 crore to increase the capacity of the 220 KV substation at Rajiv Nagar Mandwa Road.

This will improve the power quality of the area and prevent load shedding.
