BJP candidate from Sabarkantha, Bhikhaji Thakor has also refused to contest the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat. Earlier, MP Ranjanben Bhatt, who was made the BJP candidate from Vadodara, had also refused to contest the elections. Both of them referred to personal reasons for not contesting the elections.
Bhikhaji Thakor is the BJP district general secretary of Aravalli district.
