The counting of Lok Sabha polls is scheduled for June 4. The counting of votes for the Gaya Lok Sabha will be completed between 6 and 8 hours. With this will also come the final result. There are 6 legislative assemblies under the Gaya Lok Sabha. The counting of the votes of those 6 assembly voters took place on June 4 at Gaia College.

The counting of votes for Shragatti, Gaya Town and Belganj assembly will take place at Manviki Bhawan inside the Gaya College campus. Apart from this, the counting of votes of the Barchati Assembly, Bodhgaya will be held at Vaniya Bhavan. The counting of votes will start from 8 am. In each counting room, 14 separate tables were set up for counting assistants.
Counting of votes for Shragati, Gaya Town and Belganj Assembly will be done at Manviki Bhawan. Apart from this, the counting of votes of the Barchati Assembly, Bodhgaya will be held at Vaniya Bhavan. Counting of votes for Wazirganj Assembly will be held at Vigyan Bhawan. The counting of the ETPBS and the postal cards will take place in the gymnasium hall.
Dr. Dr. Thiarjan said that the Assistant Returning Officer and all Block Development Officers have been instructed to carry out the counting work with full vigilance and caution. Along with all the returning police assistants, two other officials were also tagged.
He said the EVM counting work should be completed as per the SOP issued by the Election Commission. He also announced that an official will be appointed to bring the EVM from the strong room to the counting room. Whose responsibility will it be to take the EVMs to the counting room, with sufficient manpower available.
