A runaway youth was caught pulling a chain on the Patna-Udhna Barauni Express. Various brands of liquor were recovered from the youth. RPF registered a case against the youth under relevant sections.

The Fatuha RPF and GRP team in charge reached the spot after pulling the train chain at the western end of Fatuha station from Udhana in Aruni Express leaving Uttar Pradesh towards Fatuha, where a young man got off the coach with four trolley bags. Seeing the police coming, one of the accused fled the scene. while the other youth remained inside the coach, to which the MP turned and asked the youth the reason for pulling the chain. RPF suspected the young man, RPF checked the young man’s bag during the investigation, 180 ml and 500 ml bottles of various spirits were found in them 112 liters of liquor were found.On investigation, the youth revealed his name as Kundan Kumar, a resident of Gobindpur police station area.The value of the seized liquor is around Rs.54 thousand.

RPF Inspector Vinod Kumar Vishwakarma said that a total of 112 liters of liquor, the estimated value of which is Rs 54 thousand, was found in the trolley bag. Actions were taken against the accused according to sections of the Railway Law, including the Excise Law, and he was sent to prison in judicial custody.
