A 23-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Wangwas area, Chadoora, in the center of Budgam district in Kashmir on Saturday morning. An official told the news agency – Kashmir news observer (KNO) that a family found the body of a youth near his house in the early hours of this morning and thus informed the police.
The body has been recovered from the spot and identified as Shabir Ahmad Jehrah, son of Mohd Yousuf Jehra of Gogjipatri Wangwas Chadoora. Meanwhile, the family members and the villagers have alleged murder and asked authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter.
An official said that the police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started an investigation, adding that the body will be handed over to the family for the last rites after postmortem — (KNO)
