Yadiyur Lake is said to have been built during the Hoysala period. Shantala Devi, the then consort of King Vishnuvardhana, visited the village of Yadiyur and visited the village. This lake is located in the 6th block of Kanakapura Road, Jayanagar and can be reached by alighting at South End or Jayanagar station on BMTC Bus and Metro and walking a short distance. Entry to the park is free and it is open from 5 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 8 pm. Now the boats will be between 10 am and 6 pm.
